Being a benchmarking partner, Quest participated in the 3 day follow up workshop for “Benchmarking – Achieving results through FBEA” facilitated by TPAF at the Tokatoka Resort in Nadi.
In these three days, the benchmarking partners, which included the Fiji Police Force, Ministry of Public Works & Transportation, Judiciary Department, TPAF, Airports Fiji Limited and Fiji Sugar Corporation, attended 3 site visits. The sites were Nadi International Airport, Universal Printing Press and Fiji Sugar Corporation.
All three site visits were insightful and encouraged networking, learning and sharing ideas for improvements, for both the hosts at the site visits and the benchmarking partners.
Complementing the site visits were the presentation by 5 guest speakers from Douglas Pharmaceuticals, Natural Waters Viti Ltd, Ministry of Youth, Fletcher Steel and TPAF respectively.
The facilitator, Bruce Searles, was instrumental in defining recommendations for improvement for the benchmarking partners and Quest is looking forward to implementing these improvements to achieve business results.
In addition to this, the benchmarking survey positioned Quest ahead of the Fijian and Australian partners. From this survey, gaps were also identified which will serve as a prospect for enhancement towards the FBEA framework.
The Quest breathes the four values - Customer Focus, Focus on Quality, Employee Fulfilment and Teamwork, which has been the contributing factor for driving the organisation to work toward a better and brighter future for its existence. Benchmarking will be the catalyst to accomplishing our vision – reducing operating risk & accelerating business performance.
